How it all began
Like all great modern love stories, ours began with a swipe. After matching on Tinder, we met in person soon after — and somehow ended up going on three dates in three days (because when you know, you know). By our second date, Jennifer had already met Alan’s family — a sign of just how naturally everything fell into place.
We bonded over our shared love of Harry Potter, the New York Rangers, and all things furry and four-legged. From pumpkin patches and road trips, to Broadway weekends and cozy movie nights, our story has been full of laughter, adventures, and a little bit of magic.
Alan’s proposal was perfectly us: a little chaotic, a little spooky, and completely unforgettable. What was supposed to be a birthday hike for Jennifer — with friends in tow and a steady drizzle of rain — somehow included a haunted bride doll from a dead nun (don’t ask). But it all led to the moment Alan knelt beneath a small pagoda, opened a golden snitch, and asked Jennifer to spend forever with him.
Jennifer would describe Alan as kind, thoughtful, and the most supportive person she’s ever met. Alan would tell you that Jennifer is intelligent, really funny, and beautiful inside and out. Together, we’re building a life full of laughter, adventure, and everyday magic — no wands required.
