Our home wouldn’t be complete without our favorite furry creatures: Jack, Carl, Titania, and Mab, each with their own special place in our hearts.

Captain Jack Pounce has been by Jennifer’s side since he was just eight weeks old. Jennifer had just moved home to NY from California, and ever since, Jack has been a loyal friend through every chapter of her life.

Carl, Alan’s companion since kittenhood, had never left his home before, barring some unplanned tours of his neighborhood via the hole in the fence. He bravely took the journey from Old Bridge to Rahway to meet the quota for house-hold distinguished (and slightly grumpy) gentlemen.

In November 2023, a simple errand for cat food turned serendipitous when two tiny kittens — Titania, Queen of Summer, and Mab, Queen of Air and Darkness — stole our hearts at an adoption event. As soon the volunteer placed these two balls of fur in our arms, we were done. What began as a quick stop became a joyful expansion of our little family.

Now, the four of them fill our days with laughter, joy, and just the right amount of chaos. A reminder that even the most magical homes are made warmer by a little fur and a lot of love.
